What Does It All Mean?

The logo of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church is designed to symbolize the centrality of the Lord Jesus Christ in the worship and preaching ministry of the church.

While many today would prefer an ecumenical spirit of a diluted, least-common-denominator type of religion that is politically correct and would presumably offend no one by removal of the blood of Christ from any real significance or mention, we affirm the absolute necessity of preaching only Christ, and Christ crucified!

Additionally, we proclaim the Lordship of Jesus Christ, believing that He has already won the victory over sin, death, and Hell, that He has conquered His arch-enemy the Devil, and that, after His resurrection, He ascended to Heaven where He has taken His rightful seat at the right hand of God the Father, ruling from His eternal throne.

As such, Christ reigns even now!
